Chemistry Learning Outcomes Upon completion of their program curricula, students who complete a major in chemistry will be able to:achieve an understanding of the theories and applications of analytical, physical, and either biochemistry or advanced inorganic chemistry,demonstrate competency in the laboratory,apply quantitative reasoning skills and critical thinking to problem solving in all areas of chemistry,gain research experience through the three-semester research sequence and optionally a summer internship,effectively acquire and analyze chemical literature, andeffectively communicate scientific information, orally and in written form.
