Beneath These Pines and Maples This exhibit features furniture from Sarah Wilson, Alexander McClure and original seating from Allen Auditorium and the Dining Room. It also features memorabilia including a steamer trunk, jewelry, dishware and ephemera, and striking historic photographs of people and places. Barron C. Blewett Hunnicutt Classics Gallery The collection includes items from Egypt, Mesopotamia, Italy, Greece, Palestine, and Syria. The greatest concentration of items in the collection are of Greek and Roman origin. Included are ceramics, glassware, coins, metal objects of various types, terra-cotta figurines and sculpture. These objects play an important role in the study and interpretation of the ancient world in the classroom. The collection is available for viewing by appointment.
