 RN-BSN Program Outcomes

 

  • Use effective communication methods in a variety of settings to increase safety and satisfaction among patients, families and healthcare team members.

 

  • Develop critical thinking skills for use in leadership nursing roles for planning, managing and evaluating healthcare to improve patient and family outcomes.

 

  • Employ research and holistic theory in providing and evaluating care for promoting improved patient outcomes.

 

  • Demonstrate ethical awareness and knowledge of ethical frameworks in determining care with an emphasis on the biological, psychological, social and spiritual elements of human development.

 

  •  Identify the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to care for diverse populations.

 

  • Develop the knowledge and values to practice within a collaborative environment that facilitates patient safety, innovation and accountability.

 

  • Construct a broad-based, liberal arts approach to nursing that fosters an understanding and appreciation of interdisciplinary practice and lifelong learning.

Professional Licensure Notice
In earning your BSN from Wilson College Nursing, you will meet all of the necessary requirements to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX – RN) and can move forward with Nursing Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.

Other states that Wilson College Nursing graduates have sat for the NCLEX – RN include: Maryland, Florida, New York, Louisiana, Virginia and West Virginia .
