Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Infinite Hope presented by Ernest Owens Monday, January 19, 2026 - 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Alumnae Chapel, Thomson Hall Wilson College will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special program titled “Infinite Hope” on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Alumnae Chapel, Thomson Hall. The event is free and open to the public, with a livestream option available for remote attendees.The keynote speaker will be Ernest Owens, an award-winning journalist and CEO of Ernest Media Empire LLC. Owens serves as editor of Eater Philly, political writer at large for Philadelphia Magazine, and hosts the podcast Ernestly Speaking! as well as Philadelphia City Council Live on WURD Radio. He is also the author of The Case for Cancel Culture, and his work has appeared in major outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Rolling Stone.This annual celebration invites the community to reflect on Dr. King’s enduring message of hope and justice.Ernest Owens is an award-winning journalist and CEO of Ernest Media Empire, LLC.
