Campus Dining

Our dining partner, SAGE, ensures a safe, inclusive dining environment while serving delicious and nutritious meals. Our commitment includes providing students, faculty, and staff with locally sourced ingredients, transparent nutrition information, and a variety of menu options.

Whether you are grabbing a quick bite between classes or sitting down for a leisurely meal, we are dedicated to ensuring that every experience is fulfilling.

Dining Venues:

Jensen Dining Hall

Wilson’s primary dining space features buffet-style eating options and fresh menus for each meal.

Breakfast: 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Dinner: 5:15 to 8:00 p.m.

The Cafe @ Sarah's Coffeehouse

The Café offers a set menu of meals and proudly serves Starbucks coffee as well as convenience items, pastries, and desserts.

Mon.-Fri. Coffee 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Mon.-Fri. Grill 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Students with special dietary needs can usually be accommodated by the food services on campus. Students are not released from the board plan without specific documentation from their physician. Documentation received will be reviewed by the dean of students, the health services professional, and the dining services director. Questions regarding the meal plan should be directed to the Director of ResLife.


Meal Plans

All residential students are required to participate in the meal plan. Meal plan selections are for the entire academic year (both fall and spring semesters), although students pay one semester at a time. New residential students are required to be on the Phoenix meal plan their first year. Commuter and Adult Degree students can opt into any meal plan of their choosing.
 
Students may change their plan between fall and spring semesters only, with a $10 processing fee. This is not applicable to first year freshman students. Any remaining meals at the end of the semester are forfeited and there are NO refunds. All students must have their Wilson student ID card to eat in Jensen Dining Hall. Students with special dietary needs are encouraged to contact the Sage General Manager for information regarding dining services.
 
For the 2023-2024 academic year, students can choose any of the following meal plan options:
 

Phoenix Meal Plan ($6,662 annually, $3,331 per semester)
19 meals per week + 2 free guest passes
All residential first year students are required to be on this meal plan for the first year. This plan means you have 19 meals per week (meals do not carry over week to week and reset on Saturdays).  You also receive 2 free guest passes per semester.

Gold Meal Plan ($5,482 annually, $2,741 per semester)
14 meals per week + 2 free guest passes
This meal plan means you have 14 meals per week (meals do not carry over week to week and reset on Saturdays). You also receive 2 free guest passes per semester.

Silver Meal Plan ($4,630 annually, $2,315 per semester)
10 meals per week
Limited to Seniors (as of Room Selection class), SPS, and RA residents only. This meal plan means you have any 10 meals per week (meals do not carry over week to week and reset on Saturdays): any meal option Monday - Sunday.

You can "exchange" a designated amount of meals/week in the Dining Hall for use in the Cafe from the special Pick 3 menu (the Pick 3 menus include a sandwich, side and drink).
 
The meal plan exchanges are as follows:
 
Traditional Plans
Phoenix Meal Plan (19 meals/week) - 5 exchange meals;
Gold Meal Plan (14 meals/week) - 3 exchange meals;
Silver Meal Plan (10 meals/week) - 2 exchange meals.

Flexible Plans
Commuter Meal Plan - a block-style plan sold in increments of 20 meals for $125. Meals can be used at any venue. These plans are available to purchase through the Student Financial Services Center.
 
Additionally, anyone with a valid Wilson ID card (faculty, staff or student) can add Phoenix Cash to their card for use in the Cafe, Dining Hall or Campus Store by visiting https://wilson.campuscardcenter.com/ch/quick_revalue.html In addition to convenience, Phoenix Cash offers great value -  if you deposit $100 or more, you receive a 25% spending bonus!  Please note, Phoenix Cash non-refundable and expires at the end of the academic year.
 
Any student seeking an exemption from the meal plan requirement or permission to drop to a lower meal plan than currently permitted must complete the meal plan exemption/lowering form on the Wilson portal.
