Student Learning The Fulton Center for Sustainability Studies (FCSS) offers students opportunities for learning and recreation both in and out of the classroom. Curricular offerings include classes via Wilson's Environmental Studies Department, such as Agroecology, Stewardship of Watershed Ecosystems, Environmental Education, Permaculture Design and Gardening for Fitness. Upper level students may also earn academic internship credit working with FCSS projects. Other Wilson departments also utilize the facilities for classes such as Landscape Painting, Biology, Food, Culture and Society and more. Extra-curricular offerings include sustainability workshops, volunteer opportunities, and student activities. The Interpretive Trail and farm are also great places to walk, run, ride a horse or bike. The Environmental Club offers students interested in green lifestyles and activities a chance to get involved and have some fun. USDA research in watershed modeling and food safety.
