Brain Awareness Week: Intro to Art Therapy

What is art therapy? How is art therapy different from an art class? Who benefits? How does it help? What would you expect from a session? Who is an art therapist? These are the many questions I am typically asked when I share my profession with others. Art therapy is a growing field, and I am hopeful the more people are aware of it, the greater difference it can make as a human service profession. If you have had some similar questions before, please attend this session. Bring an open mind and be willing to get creative!
