Liberal Studies

  • Interdisciplinary: Pursue topics ranging from Ancient and Medieval Philosophy to Leadership Models and Practice to gain a solid foundation in the liberal arts. 
  • Collaborative: Work alongside other students and hone your collaboration skills in groups of like-minded peers.
  • Supportive: Get the support you need from expert faculty through office hours, email, Panopto recordings, and group and one-on-one Canvas discussions.

Students choose one Traditions course:

  • Women in Antiquity
  • Major Writings of the European Tradition I
  • Ancient and Medieval Philosophy

Students will also take courses from disciplines that emphasize:

  • The analysis of social ideas and artifacts
  • Understanding and working within the human community
  • Scientific reasoning and the natural environment
  • Communication

Liberal studies students must also take the course Leadership Models and Practice.
