Q: How do I find out who my personal admissions counselor is and what their contact information is?
A: For students that have applied to Wilson, their counselor information can be found by logging into the applicant status portal at: Applicant Status Page.

Q: I have been accepted at Wilson. What is the deadline for me to make a deposit and commit to attending in the fall?
A: Wilson College has a rolling admissions policy. That means that students can apply to the College any time throughout the academic year, including up through August. However, the College has asked that all students who plan to attend in the fall, make an enrollment deposit by July 1, 2020 to guarantee a spot in the first-year class.
 
Q: My high school will be closed for the remainder of the academic year. How do I get my official transcript to Wilson for review along with other application materials? Will a delay in that process keep me from being accepted?
A: This is a tricky one. Many school districts across the country have made the decision to physically close their schools and teach remotely for the balance of the school year. Our admissions counselors understand this is completely out of your control. That’s why we will work directly with your high school to electronically obtain the necessary materials we need to consider your application – like your transcript. You can submit an application via our website, wilson.edu/apply and you can email directly with your personal admissions counselor.
 
If you have concerns about submitting materials, contact your admissions counselor directly and they will work with on completing the process.
 
Q: Since SAT and ACT testing dates have been cancelled, is Wilson still requiring those test scores for admission?
A: No. For all students admitted to the College for any terms beginning prior to July 1, 2022, Wilson College is test optional. This means official SAT and or ACT scores are not required for students who are admitted and begin class before July 1, 2022.
 
While testing is not required for admission, it is still recommended that you submit existing test scores as they can be used for placement into courses.
NOTE: As of 4/14/20, standardized tests are still required for all students applying for our BSN or LPN-to-BSN programs. We are discussing options for these students and will update this page as the situation changes. 
 
Q: How will I know if I’ve been accepted or not?
A: Because shipping and often times the U.S. Postal Service are experiencing delays in service, Wilson College is no longer mailing acceptance letters. Students who have applied, should check the applicant status page within Slate: Applicant Status Page. You will also receive an e-mail or text (if you have opted in) when an admissions decision has been added to your application.

Q: Will Wilson College offer in-person, on-campus classes in the fall?
A: Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has recently lifted restrictions, thus allowing colleges and universities across the Commonwealth to reopen for in-person instruction. With that in mind, and in compliance with all health and safety guidelines, Wilson College will deliver an on-campus fall semester with classes beginning Monday, August 24.
 
Published dates for both January term (January 4 – 31, 2021) and Spring term (January 25 – May 4, 2021 with finals May 10 – 13, 2021) are not expected to change. These dates may be reconsidered later in the fall as we adapt to changes in the pandemic.
