Jourian is a social justice educator, learner, and trainer; having spoken and consulted at hundreds of college campuses, conferences, and community-based organizations in the U.S. He has completed his PhD in Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago by investigating how trans*masculine college students conceptualize masculinity for his dissertation. T.J. is a co-founder of the T*Circle Collective, the first and only collective of trans* higher education and student affairs educators. He is also on the training and facilitation team of the Brown Boi Project, a community of masculine-centered people of color across gender identities, committed to changing the way that communities of color talk about gender.
