Study of drugs and their effects on animals, including principles of drug action; drug forms; usage, dosage and solution problems; toxicity; dispensing procedures; and legal considerations. Anesthetic drugs and principles of anesthesiology will be emphasized in the laboratory. Mandatory animal care outside of class. Three hours lecture, three hours lab.
