ESS 230 Adaptive Physical Education

This course provides the students with the competencies necessary to screen and evaluate the needs of individuals with various physical and/or mental disabilities. The students will develop appropriate goals and learning objectives in the area of motor fitness as well as adapting activities based on the needs of the individual are emphasized. Students will complete a total of 4 observation hours. Prerequisites: EDU206
