ESS 223 Physiological Foundations of Training Focuses on underlying physiologic theories supporting proper diet and training techniques for the athlete. Addresses the physiologic basis for the development of muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, power and speed, along with cellular energy systems used in training and performance.
