Affording Your Wilson Education

Our students and families find that a Wilson College education is affordable. There is financial aid for virtually every family. This means that you receive a quality education at a great price.

Many families assume that they cannot afford a private education, but in reality, Wilson is a better value than many public institutions. Families need to look beyond the published tuition and understand that Wilson offers significant financial aid resources that make a private education affordable—in many cases, even more affordable than a public university. You can graduate in four years, enroll in small classes, and be challenged by a dedicated faculty. You can take advantage of our career development program to be prepared for the job market or graduate or professional school. More than 98% of our students receive some type of financial aid and they often tell us that Wilson is actually less expensive than they originally thought.

We know that students and families want to know more about how they can afford a Wilson education. You can start by using the online calculator to determine your estimated aid eligibility for grants, scholarships, loans and work-study programs. To access the Net Price Calculator planning tool—which was developed in conjunction with the College Board—go to Calculate My Financial Aid at Wilson College

Our students come from families with all types of financial resources. Our financial aid staff work very closely with our students to help them obtain the resources they need to help pay for college. In 2021-22, more than 98% of our new full time undergraduates received grants or scholarships. The following chart provides information about our current students.
