Chambersburg, Pa. — The Foundry, at 100 South Main Street in downtown Chambersburg, will host an exhibition of artwork by Wilson College studio art students. The exhibition will open on Feb. 19 and continue through March 14, 2021. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibition will be the fifth exhibit in a partnership between The Foundry and Wilson College. Wilson’s history as a community partner dates to the founding of the institution. Wilson’s commitment to rich and meaningful partnerships continues as the community grows and evolves. 

Chambersburg, Pa. — Wilson College will host a virtual art exhibition for regional high school artists.

The exhibition, the tenth of its kind at Wilson, is an opportunity to be inspired by visions of creativity and celebrate regional excellence in the visual arts. Artists from Franklin, Adams, Cumberland, and Fulton counties, Pennsylvania, and Washington County, Maryland, were invited to submit work.

The Foundry, a Chambersburg art cooperative located at 100 N. Main St., will host Wilson Students at The Foundry, an exhibition of artwork by Wilson College studio art students, from Feb. 28 to March 15. The Foundry will host a "meet the artists" event from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6. The exhibit and the March 6 reception are free and open to the public.

Wilson College recently announced the winners of its 9th annual juried high school student art exhibition, which runs through Dec. 6 in the Bogigian Gallery in Wilson's Lortz Hall.

A one-night exhibition of original works of art by seven Wilson College students will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at SpringHill Suites Mariott, 451 Gateway Ave., Chambersburg. The event is part of a quarterly series by SpringHill Suites called the Art of Local, and is free and open to the public.

Orchesis, the Wilson College dance company, will present its fall performance at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14, 15 and 16, with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.. The show, which is open to the public, will be held in the Appenzellar-Buchanan Dance Studio in Davison Hall. 

Wilson College seniors Jaimi DeVitto, Kiara Scarbrough and Donna Werling will host a capstone exhibition of their art from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the historic High Line Train Station on South Jefferson Street in Greencastle, Pa. In addition, selections from the students’ bodies of work will be shown at Wilson’s Bogigian Gallery, where a reception will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. The Bogigian exhibit will run until May 20.

Wilson College will hold a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in Lortz Hall's Bogigian Gallery to mark the opening of the college's Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will continue through April 26.

The show, which provides a venue for Wilson students to share their work with the community, will feature drawings, paintings, prints, ceramics, photographs and mixed-media artwork with a wide array of subject matter and content.

Wilson College senior Wendy Arispe will host her capstone art exhibition from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall on the Wilson campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
