Wilson College Art Students Exhibit at The Foundry

Chambersburg, Pa. — The Foundry, at 100 South Main Street in downtown Chambersburg, will host an exhibition of artwork by Wilson College studio art students. The exhibition will open on Feb. 19 and continue through March 14, 2021. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibition will be the fifth exhibit in a partnership between The Foundry and Wilson College. Wilson’s history as a community partner dates to the founding of the institution. Wilson’s commitment to rich and meaningful partnerships continues as the community grows and evolves. 

Wilson College to Exhibit Art Made by Area High School Students

Chambersburg, Pa. — Wilson College will host a virtual art exhibition for regional high school artists.

The exhibition, the tenth of its kind at Wilson, is an opportunity to be inspired by visions of creativity and celebrate regional excellence in the visual arts. Artists from Franklin, Adams, Cumberland, and Fulton counties, Pennsylvania, and Washington County, Maryland, were invited to submit work.

Wilson Art Students Host Two Exhibitions

Wilson College seniors Jaimi DeVitto, Kiara Scarbrough and Donna Werling will host a capstone exhibition of their art from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the historic High Line Train Station on South Jefferson Street in Greencastle, Pa. In addition, selections from the students’ bodies of work will be shown at Wilson’s Bogigian Gallery, where a reception will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. The Bogigian exhibit will run until May 20.

 

 

Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition to Open April 3

Wilson College will hold a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in Lortz Hall's Bogigian Gallery to mark the opening of the college's Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will continue through April 26.

The show, which provides a venue for Wilson students to share their work with the community, will feature drawings, paintings, prints, ceramics, photographs and mixed-media artwork with a wide array of subject matter and content.
