As part of the English program’s upcoming Colloquium on Creative Writing and the 2018-19 Writers Series, we are pleased to welcome New Yorker author and novelist Seth Fried to campus. This is a rare opportunity to hear an emerging important voice on the Wilson campus. We invite everyone to the colloquium’s keynote address to hear an amazing talent read from his work! He is the author of the novel The Municipalists (forthcoming from Penguin Books) and the short story collection The Great Frustration (Soft Skull Press). He is a recurring contributor to The New Yorker’s “Shouts and Murmurs” and NPR’s “Selected Shorts.” His stories have appeared in Tin House, One Story, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, The Kenyon Review, Vice, and many others.
