Personalized Year-Round Help 

Every student has an assigned Student Financial Services counselor who will help them from day one to graduation. You can request a one-on-one appointment with one of our counselors year-round by emailing ssc@wilson.edu

We aim to ensure you feel part of the Wilson community by providing timely and comprehensive answers to your financial concerns year-round. 

We can also teach you about financing, financial aid, and the campus resources available through our financial literacy campaign.

Meet the Staff

Jill Worthington
Student Financial Services Counselor

Jill joined our team recently and serves as a Financial Aid Counselor. She meets with prospective students and families who visit the college on all aspects of financial aid. She encourages students to apply for financial aid as early as possible! During her free time, Jill enjoys volunteering, traveling to watch college softball, and spending time with her family.

Heather Ellerbrock

Heather oversees the Student Financial Services Center and serves as the financial counselor for students with the last names Q-V. She also serves as the Work Study Coordinator for the campus and is actively involved in new student onboarding and orientation and student success initiatives. Heather loves Wilson’s animal-friendly atmosphere and enjoys bringing her English golden retriever, Desi, onto campus occasionally.  

Cortney Hull

Cortney has been with Student Financial Services since 2021. Having started within the counselor role, most recently promoted to Assistant Director, she helps students and families across the board navigate their payment options as well as oversees the outside scholarship database. As a native to Chambersburg, Cortney enjoys the Wilson campus and collaborating with other staff to best assist students and their families. If you don’t see her working, you may see her walking around campus with her border collie mix rescue dog, Duke.
