Equine Student Gains National Experience Through American Horse Council Internship

Five Wilson College students will each receive a $3,000 scholarship from a grant awarded by The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The 2023-2024 equestrian season ended with Wilson College making unprecedented marks as Julie Warnick ‘26 (New Oxford, Pa.) won the national championship in open reining.
The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) awarded Adrianna “Andie” Swanson ’23 $5,000 in scholarship support. Swanson, an equine studies major, is one of the three Swanson triplets who attend the College. All three ride and participate in equestrian events.
The College’s equestrian program has added a Western riding team to its already established hunt seat team and has appointed a new Director of Equestrian Teams, Cathy Woosley Luse, to oversee them.
