A Brain Awareness Week event

Led by Lizzy Cordon ’27 and Jen Graham, Director of MFA & Assistant Professor of Dance

90 minute Workshop | 30 min lecture & 60 min practice/experientials

Through a combination of embodied experiences, theoretical discussion, and Q+A, participants will learn the foundational principles of somatic theory and practice, the pitfalls of the mind/body duality fallacy, and everyday applications of somatic practice in support of awareness, balance, connection, regulation, and overall wellbeing. 

Come take part in a special Blessing of the Animals service! Bring your critter, or a picture of your critter, and Chaplain Andy will provide a blessing for them. It's a great opportunity to see the incredible menagerie of animals existing in the Wilson community. Please keep your animals appropriately contained (leash, cage, etc) and make sure you clean up after them.  There will be a moment of silence for those animals who passed.
