She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and her master’s degree and Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida, specializing in Neurogenic Communication Disorders.As a bilingual Spanish-English speech-language pathologist, she possesses a diverse background in higher education, clinical practice, academic leadership, and interprofessional collaboration. Her work is driven by a commitment to educating future speech-language pathologists through innovative instruction, evidence-based practice, meaningful mentorship, and scholarly engagement. As an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she leverages her clinical, academic, and leadership expertise to foster excellence in teaching, learning, and professional practice.Dr. Julbe-Delgado has provided clinical care across the lifespan, with expertise in adult cognitive communication and swallowing disorders. Her research examines early indicators of cognitive change through interdisciplinary collaboration. A proven academic and clinical leader, she has served in multiple leadership roles across education, clinical practice, and NIH-funded research while mentoring future clinicians and colleagues through evidence-based, student-centered approaches.
